Return to Campus Information for New Students
- Teaching and learning delivery will continue to be in online mode until January 2022 which is the end of trimester 1, 2021/22 session.
- Option to return to campus and stay on the on-campus accommodation is open to the following group of students who are fully vaccinated :
- New intake students from the April, July, and September 2021 intake;
- Students who have internet connection issues at home;
- Returning international students who are not from the RED zone, subject to the guideline and approval from the authorities and the MMU Visa Office.
- Students who wish to return to campus and stay on the on-campus accommodation are required to :
- do the swab test or self-test (using covid-19 self-test kit) a day before returning and produce the result. Only students with negative results are allowed to return;
- obtain the approval letter from MMU by sending a request to: stad@mmu.edu.my
(please provide name, student id, your current address, and the date you wish to travel to MMU);
- undergo quarantine for a period of 5 days. This duration is to be counted from the first day of return to campus. Students are to remain in the hostel on campus during this period. Food will be arranged for them with payment involved.

- Option to return to campus on a daily commute will be announced later. However, students who commute daily are not allowed to interact physically with students staying in the hostel.
- The physical gathering is not allowed. Students are to leverage digital facilities such as live broadcasts, online meetings, teleconference, webinars, E-learning, and others for any gathering.
- Food outlets on campus will be in operation for takeaway.
